Annual General Meeting

The Build Surrey program of capital projects has been developed to position the City of Surrey for a prosperous future. Exciting opportunities exist for the construction industry as the City works towards the transformation of the downtown core, creating BC's next metropolitan centre, and to ensure the ongoing development of other vibrant town centres. Design and construction of the projects began in 2010, and will continue until 2016. These projects are designed to prepare the City of Surrey for growth over the next decade. Projects are being undertaken in the six town centres: City Centre, Newton, South Surrey, Cloverdale, Fleetwood and Guildford. The Mayor of Surrey will talk about the Build Surrey program of capital projects, investment initiatives, as well as new land use policies that have been implemented to offer more housing choices and to create more livable communities.
